Green activists escorted out of Drax annual investor meeting

Between 10 and 20 activists disrupted the meeting held by the owner of the Drax power plant in London on Thursday. Axe Drax activists claim the energy company greenwashes the way it produces electricity and wrongly receives billions in government subsidies. They also allege it has been 'repeatedly linked to driving environmental racism and causing huge amounts of harm to communities, forests and biodiversity'
