ICJ hearing: UN court examines humanitarian duties of Israel

The United Nations' top court is beginning a five-day hearing on Israel's humanitarian obligations in the occupied Palestinian Territories. The advisory proceedings at the International Court of Justice in The Hague came from a UN General Assembly resolution back in December brought by Norway and other countries. They were concerned that the UN's humanitarian work in Gaza was in danger of collapse because of military and legislative pressure from Israel. Al Jazeera’s Rory Challands reports.
