Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi to meet with top European diplomats in Geneva on Friday

Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has confirmed he will meet with his counterparts from the UK, France and Germany, known as the E3, in Geneva on Friday. It will be the first face-to-face diplomatic meeting since Israel began its attack on Iran’s military and nuclear sites. Former UN humanitarian chief Martin Griffiths has expressed hope that tomorrow’s planned meeting between Iran’s foreign minister and European counterparts will “shine a light on possible alternatives to war”.
