Israel is waging ‘war of aggression’, says Iran’s FM spokesperson, warns of full regional conflict

In a live Al Jazeera interview, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei denounced Israel's "war of aggression by a genocidal regime," pledging Iran would defend itself with "all force." On potential US involvement, he cautioned: "We're confident our Arab neighbours - with whom we have excellent relations - won't permit their territory to be used against a Muslim neighbour, despite Israel's attempts to drag them into war." While confirming Iran would retaliate against bases launching attacks, he emphasised: "Our current focus remains Israel's aggression - our responses have been precise and proportional."
