Israel’s relentless bombardment of Gaza continues as UK, Canada and France threaten sanctions

Britain, France and Canada are stepping up pressure on Israel for its renewed offensive on Gaza. They have threatened to take “concrete actions”, including imposing sanctions. In a joint statement, the leaders of the 3 countries called on Israel to immediately allow aid into the Strip. Israel is rejecting calls to end its blockade. On the ground, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is vowing to take control of all of Gaza. At least 60 Palestinians have been killed in multiple attacks early on Tuesday.
