Israel should not target Tehran civilians amid tensions with Iran: Israel's ex-Justice Minister

Iran has launched a new wave of attacks targeting cities across Israel. At least 20 people have been killed there since the hostilities began on Friday. In Tel Aviv, air defence systems were used to intercept the Iranian attacks there early on Monday morning. The port city of Haifa has also come under Iranian attacks. The city's energy plant has ben hit. The coastal city has been repeatedly targeted by Iran in the past four days. The Israel Electric Corporation has confirmed there's damage to the power grid. Some missiles evaded counter measures and struck several areas of Tel Aviv. Emergency services are still combing through the rubble. Yossi Beilin, Israel’s minister of justice between 1999 and 2001, urges Israel not to target Tehran civilians, stresses need for diplomacy, and calls for a two-state solution amid rising Iran tensions.
