PLO meeting: Abbas calls on Hamas to hand over arms to end war

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has called on Hamas to cede responsibility for the Gaza Strip. He was speaking at the PLO's Central Council meeting in Ramallah - which is set to appoint a Vice President for the first time. The chosen person will serve as a deputy to President Abbas.
