A day after one of Europe’s largest blackouts, life is gradually returning to normal in Spain and Portugal. Electricity has been restored to millions of homes and businesses. Factories have resumed operations, and transport networks are running again, albeit with delays. The focus now turns to understanding what caused the sudden and widespread outage.
