Super Typhoon Ragasa hits northern Philippines with deadly wind gusts as thousands evacuate

Super Typhoon Ragasa, the planet's strongest storm this year, has struck the northern Philippines. With winds over 200 km/h, it caused landslides, fatalities, and forced 100,000 evacuations. While weaker than 2013's Haiyan, it inflicted significant damage to infrastructure and caused widespread flooding.
