Supporters of barred presidential candidate rally in Ivory Coast

Supporters of Ivory Coast’s main opposition leader, Tidjane Thiam, have taken to the streets in protest after he was barred from running in the upcoming presidential election. The country's top court ruled against his candidacy, a decision that cannot be appealed. Thiam, however, says he will pursue every legal avenue to challenge the ruling.
