Syria wildfires: Civil defence teams battle blazes in Latakia and Hama

A heatwave, strong winds and a prolonged drought are fuelling wildfires in Syria. The flames have already scorched swathes of farmland in Latakia and Hama, as well as near the border with Turkiye.
