US Midwest tornadoes kill at least 21, mass casualty declared in Kentucky

Severe storms and powerful tornadoes have swept across the US Midwest, killing at least 21 people and causing widespread destruction. Kentucky authorities have declared a mass casualty event, while rescue teams continue to search for survivors in collapsed homes and buildings.
